Happy Birthday Mila!!

12:15pm- Training Demonstration

Our training demonstrations highlight the close working relationship our students have with the animals in their care. Animals subject to change. Located at the Wildlife Theater. 

Highlighting Rebel the African Crested Porcupine and Serena the Great Horned Owl.

1:00pm & 1:30pm - Keeper Talks

Connect with the students of the Animal Care and Training Program as they talk about Animal Ambassadors and their experience as a student.
1:00PM - In front of Ira's Kingdom just before Primate Gardens
1:30PM - In front of Neil and Karma in the Carnivore Area

2:30pm - Wildlife Presentation

Presented by students of the Animal Care and Training Program, learn more about are animal species and how wee can do our part to help them. Located at the Wildlife Theater. 

3:30pm & 3:45pm - Feeding Demonstration

Watch as our animal care students demonstrate how we feed, train and safely care for some of our animals. Animals subject to change.
Saturday 3:30pm: The Tigers, Neil and Karma. Located in the Carnivore Area
Saturday 3:45pm: Happy the American Alligator. Located in the Aviary

Sunday 3:30pm: The Tigers, Neil and Karma. Located in the Carnivore Area
Sunday 3:45pm: Ira the African Lion. Located before Primate Gardens

Animal Meet & Greets - Times Vary 

You never know when you may catch an animal out and about with it's student animal trainers. Come eye to eye and learn about some of our animal ambassadors. Located at Exploration Stations. 

Clarence the Galapagos Tortoise 

100 years old and weighing up to 500 pounds, Galapagos Tortoises are some of the largest in the World! Clarence is not to be missed. You can find him munching on a snack or snoozing in the sun! Due to current construction, some access is restricted.

Ira's Kingdom

Our male African Lion, Ira, is King of the Campus has a new kingdom to reign over. After years of fundraising we are excited to have opened a new enclosure for Ira and move one step forward with improvements from our Master Plan. Located down before Primate Gardens.

Rajah's Retreat

Our brand new Tiger Habitat is almost complete and ready to welcome our 2 tigers; Neil & Karma. Heated bedrooms and a splash pool we are so excited at another step in the modernization of The Teaching Zoo! Walk through it and get a good look before the Tigers move (P.S. its getting close we promise!)  Located across from the Reptile House.
