Welcome to The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College!
Thank you for planning your visit to The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College. The Teaching Zoo is the living classroom for the students in the Animal Care and Training Program and home to over 100 different animal species. Here the creatures are the teachers.
Every guest will require a ticket to enter the Zoo. Please carefully select the date of your visit and ensure that you have selected the correct day prior to completing your purchase. Please note we do not accept American Express or Discover Card.

Enjoy a magical, wild, one-of-a-kind adventure for the whole family at Wild Lights at the Teaching Zoo! We’re lighting up the night with dazzling displays, sparkling photo ops, and festive fun under the stars.
Stroll through glowing pathways while savoring tasty treats and warm drinks. On select nights, decorate holiday cookies and even meet Santa himself!

*Separate tickets are needed to visit the zoo during normal operating hours, 11-4:30pm, and for the Wild Lights events.*
