Wildlife Presentation

The Weekday field trip includes a 30 minute Wildlife Presentation given by the students of the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program in the Wildlife Theater. This will allow your group to see a variety of animals up close and learn more about each of them. Student presenters work to make the program appropriate for the age and grade level of the group.

Tour of the Zoo

Weekday Field Trips also include a 45 minute tour of the Zoo. Depending on group size, this may be a guided tour given by a student or a self-guided tour with students stationed around the Zoo to continue to educate about the animals you encounter. You will see animals such as Macaws and Monkeys, Tigers and Tortoises to name a few.

**As of 2/1 Alumni Aviary pathway will be closed to foot traffic and there is very limited viewing of these animals during construction.

Our Weekday field trips are available throughout the year on select weekdays.  Reservations can be made online up to 4 months in advanced. All field trip programming starts at 10:30am. Your group may arrive as early as 10:00am.

A flat fee of $5 for all guests 2 & up and all parent chaperones is due the day of the field trip. Teachers are free. Please note, field trips are reserved only for groups of 20 or more. Payment can be made by Check or Credit Card.
