Join us for an evening of friend-raising under the stars! Enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres, experience up close animal encounters and shows, plus take part in our incredible silent auction!

Located on the patio overlooking the hillsides of Ventura County at America’s Teaching Zoo, 7075 Campus Road, Moorpark, CA 93021.

Zoo open house 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM

Hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine, animal shows and encounters begin at 6:00 PM

Betty White received her Platinum Paw Award at 6:45 PM

Boo in the Zoo October 31 & November 1, 2015

Come join us this Halloween for animal presentations, face painting, trick-or-treating and more! On October 31st and November 1st, America’s Teaching Zoo will be holding our annual Boo At The Zoo event. Make sure you wear your best costume for our Costume Contest at 3 pm! The zoo is open 11am to 5pm. General admission tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children (2-12) and seniors (65+). Kids 2 and under are FREE.

Arctic LightsDecember 19 & 20, 2015

The Exotic Animal Training and Management Program at Moorpark College presents Arctic Lights. Join us this winter for holiday themed animal performances, children’s activities and baked goods. The event will be held on Saturday December 19th and Sunday December 20th from 11 am until 5 pm. Arctic Lights is a family oriented event geared toward children. General admission tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children (2-12) and seniors (65+). Kids 2 and under are FREE.

Ira’s Birthday Party – February 6, 2016

Help Ira, our lion, blow out his candles at the birthday party of the year, when we honor Ira’s 2nd birthday with cake, presents and friends. This rip “ROARING” good time happens February 6th, 2016! Zoo is open 11am to 5pm with the party at Noon. General admission tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children (2-12) and seniors (65+). Kids 2 and under are FREE.

Spring SpectacularMarch 19, 20, 26, 27, April 2 & 3, 2016

Swing, slither or soar over to the zoo’s family fun event of the year! Experience America’s Teaching Zoo like no other time of the year during our Spring Spectacular. Kids of all ages enjoy animal shows, food, a kid’s zone, VIP tours and special guest animals. It’s all happening March 19th, 20th, 26th & 27th and April 2nd & 3rd, 2016. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see the zoo at its most spectacular! Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children and seniors. Kids 2 and under are FREE. Member tickets are $5 each.
